Ripe wild berries, with mixed spices, cigar box with smokey subtle American oak flavours enhanced by 24 months in predominantly aged barrels.

Palate:

A full bodied wine with a smooth mouth-feel, achieved with minimum filtration. Wonderful fresh berries with a predominance of ripe cherries complimented by black pepper and spices. Delicate and complex, the wine is very well balanced and has a long lingering palate.

Ageing potential:

Great to drink now or put it away for 6 to 8 years under normal cellaring conditions.

This pleasant spice flavours will compliment lamb, beef and game dishes.
